What every agent comes with · day one, no setup

Its Own Computer
Its Own Computer
A real Linux machine that stays on — its files, its tools, its desk

Not an API wrapper. An actual computer.

Installs what it needs — packages, CLIs, whole projects — and keeps them

Persistent disk. Its setup survives.

Open the Browser tab and literally watch its screen while it works

Real Chrome on a real display. No black box.

A Website It Ships
A Website It Ships
Hosts a real site at its own address from the moment it's born

Live on the internet, day one.

Ask for changes in chat — it edits the code and content itself

It's the developer and the host.

Point a custom domain at it and it handles the rest

TLS, routing, the lot.

Every Channel
Every Channel
Its own email address — a real inbox it reads, files, and answers

Strangers land quietly; trusted senders wake it.

Lives in iMessage, Slack, and Discord — group chats included

Same brain in every room.

Answer it wherever you are; replies mirror to where you'll look

One conversation across all of them.

Memory That Compounds
Memory That Compounds
Remembers people, decisions, and preferences — permanently

Stop re-explaining yourself.

Tends a little wiki of everything it's learned, every night

A gardener job curates while you sleep.

Ask about something from months ago; it searches its own past

Long-term memory over every conversation.

Actual Superpowers
Actual Superpowers
Generates images, video, and speech — real files saved to its disk

Ask for a logo, get a PNG.

Searches the web natively and runs real scrapers for the messy parts

Maps, socials, listings — structured data out.

Connects to 100+ apps — Gmail, Stripe, Notion, calendars, GitHub…

OAuth in a few clicks; it takes it from there.

Runs While You Sleep
Runs While You Sleep
Schedule anything in plain English — briefs, digests, standing chores

Cron jobs, without the crontab.

Works unattended and pings you only when something needs you

Staying quiet is a feature it knows.

Spends within caps and asks before anything risky

You set the rules once; it holds them.

It's all one agent — one odd, capable little employee.

Built with love, and slightly too many features.

People put it to
real work.

Real quotes from people who ran one while we were building — first names only, at their request.

I clean gutters — I'm not a marketing guy. My Demon AI agent runs my Google Ads for me: keywords, bids, the landing page, even digging into why a campaign stalled at 11pm. It's like having a media buyer who never clocks out.

Alex

Gutter cleaning

Every quote I send, it chases for me if it goes quiet for a week — automatically, every morning. I used to lose jobs just because I forgot to follow up. Now I don't.

Flooring

I literally named mine “my co-founder.” It wrote my outreach scripts, my one-pager, and an hour-by-hour plan for my first 48 hours of sales — then emailed it to me.

WHY IT CAN DO ALL THIS

Not a chatbot. A creaturewith its own computer.

Most “AI” is a chat box that forgets you when the tab closes and can’t touch the real world. Every demon gets a real, persistent machine — files, browser, inbox, website, memory — so it can do things, not just describe them.

A real machineLinux, always on

Its own filesystem, terminal, and tools. It installs things — and keeps them.

A browser you can watchLive screen

It drives real Chrome on its own display. Open the tab and watch it click.

A website & an emailIts own address

Hosts a real site and answers a real inbox — both registered to it, not you.

A memory & a wikiCurated nightly

Long-term memory it searches, plus a wiki it gardens every night on its own.

Media, search & scrapersSuperpowers

Generates images, video, and speech; searches and scrapes the live web.

Scheduled workCron + heartbeat

Morning briefs, digests, standing chores — it runs jobs on a clock, unattended.

Works while you sleep

24/7

It browses, drafts, sends, builds, and remembers — on hardware that’s actually there. That’s the whole trick, and it’s a good one.

HOW IT WORKS

Talk to it.
It takes it from there.

Your agent plugging into your inbox, calendar, and payment tools — all wired into its own computer

Connect your stuff

Point it at your email, your calendar, and the apps you already use — or connect nothing and just talk. Everything runs inside its own isolated machine; provider keys stay server-side, never in the box.

Tell it your rules

In plain English: what to work on, what it may do alone, what waits for your OK. It keeps what it learns in real files on its own disk — USER.md is literally a file you can open — and it holds the line at 2am.

It reaches you anywhere

It messages you where you actually are — iMessage, Slack, Discord, email — with morning briefs, finished work, and the occasional question. Say a new rule in chat and it's wired from then on.

An honest comparison with the things it gets mistaken for.

The story · a note from the builders

Hey.

Thanks for scrolling this far. Here's the honest version.

Demon started life as Polykalshi — an operating system for prediction-market traders. We wanted an agent that could watch Polymarket and Kalshi overnight, do the research, place the trade, enforce the stop-loss. To do that honestly, it couldn't be a chat window. It needed its own computer: a machine that stays on, a browser, an inbox, a memory.

So we built the computer. And once it existed, something funny happened — people kept pointing their "trading" agents at everything else. Research, websites, outreach, support, scraping, odd little scheduled chores. Different jobs, same shape: a persistent little machine with a persistent memory, reachable on the channels you already use. The computer was the point. It became RunLobster, then Demon.

Full honesty: we're a two-brother team, we took this through Y Combinator, and our company is now focused on something else. "AI employees" turned out to be one of the most crowded markets on earth, and we'd rather build where we can win. Demon didn't get there as a business — but it's the best thing we've ever built, we use it every day, and we can't bring ourselves to turn it off.

So it stays up, as what it honestly is: a project made with love. Free to try. Paid plans exist because the computers are real and somebody has to pay for them. No growth hacks, no fake urgency — if you want a strange, capable little computer-creature of your own, summon one. If you just enjoyed the tour, that's plenty too.
